Adding to the Collection

Description

A biguana has found a rather comfortable place to call home. He has made a new home on the third floor of a rundown apartment. He's lived there for some time; the old room was now littered with bones. Piles of white skeletons decorated the space, and this biguana loved to add to the collection. He had brought dinner home this time, for he was not hungry when he caught it. The human took one look at the bones filling the room and fainted. The lizard coiled up in his usual corner and eyed his impressive collection while the human slept. About an hour later the biguana was finally hungry enough, but the human was still asleep. He decided not to wait any longer: he picked the human up into his mouth, ingesting it slowly. He missed the thrill of a struggling prey kicking its way down, but at least he could savor this one. He swallowed the man at a snail's pace, pausing often to enjoy the moment. Even when the human was no longer visible outside the mouth, with only a bulge in the throat indicating his position, the lizard would stop and hold the human in place for a moment before continuing. The trip finally ended when the skin around the belly swelled. In a matter of 3 to 4 days whatever is left of him will be added to a growing pile, and the lizard will go hunting for more.

Humans have tried to figure out why these biguanas horde the bones from their meals. They believe its similar to dragons and how they are known to horde treasure. These biguanas must find something attractive or interesting about the bones much like a dragon would find gold to be attractive. It is believed only these scaly brown and green ones do the hording, other colors of biguanas do not keep the bones. Scientists do know these lizards have a hard time digesting bones, but the reason for hoarding them is a mystery.

I actually used my own lights for this one. The presets were not getting the results I wanted even after moving them around and changing the settings. It was a trick but I did get what I wanted. The original came out a bit dark, so the image was touched up in photoshop to fix the dark lighting.

In future, you should do something like this but after the eating. I would be amazing to see him with a full, tight twitching belly.
